BATESVILLE – They played like a team on a mission through most of two Class 3A softball sectional games. Lawrenceburg's Lady Tigers played 12 strong innings in their 3A tournament debut, which ended with Wednesday night's 8-0 semifinal round shutout by host Batesville. Trailing the Bulldogs 2-0 after five frames, LHS ran out of gas late, allowing the hosts three runs each in the sixth and seventh to advance to their second-straight sectional final tonight (Thursday) against South Dearborn.
