| Two injured in wreck on U.S. 50 |

Lawrenceburg Police Department, Lawrenceburg Fire Department, and Lawrenceburg EMS responded to U.S. 50 and Ind. 48 for an crash at 9:13 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, said LPD Lt. Brian Miller. The crash involved a semi-tractor trailer that had been traveling westbound on U.S. 50 and a passenger car attempting to turn north from U.S. 50 onto Ind. 48. The two occupants of the passenger car, a male and female, were trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by the Lawrenceburg Fire Department. Both occupants were transported to Dearborn County Hospital for treatment of multiple injuries, said Miller. The female passenger was transferred to University Hospital in Cincinnati for further treatment. There were no injuries to the driver of the truck.
